FROM ONU.EDU/NEWS Ada Schools treasurer Tessa (Pitcovich) McVey, BSBA ’22, MSA ’23, and senior software engineer Kevin Cramer, BSCPE ’11, have been selected to receive Ohio Northern University’s 2026 William L. Robinson Young Alumni Awards during Homecoming & Reunion Weekend, Sept. 25-26.
The prestigious award honors alumni from the past 15 years who demonstrate outstanding professional achievement, service to others, and commitment to ONU. It is named for Bill Robinson, a 1961 ONU graduate who served the University for more than 50 years and left a lasting impact.
The Ada Lions Club would to thank the many sponsors and patrons for their support of the Lions Club food booth at this year’s Harvest and Herb Festival. The club has been serving the traditional hamburgers and hot dogs for several years. Through the continuous support of our sponsors, we are able to help many local individuals and organizations.

In November of 1967, the Beatles released their song “Hello, Goodbye” as a single. Paul McCartney used a very unique writing style when developing the song. He asked Alistair Taylor, a Beatles aide, to say the opposite to anything he said and the song generated from there. The song was a major hit in the United States and the United Kingdom. Eventually, the song was put on the Magical Mystery Tour soundtrack. McCartney often uses the song in his concerts.
