Amelia "Molly" Mathewson was a registered nurse
Amelia "Molly" Mathewson, age 42, of Ada, passed away at home on Friday, February 10, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on February 11, 1980, in Lima, Ohio, to Gary Lee and Judith Muriel (Schmenk) McCurdy. Molly was preceded in death by her father. On August 25, 2001, she married her best friend Clint and he survives in Ada with their son Jude.
Molly is survived by her mother; sisters Katy (Eric) Atkinson and Cari (Dan) DeVaughn; brothers Joe (Emily) Bruskotter and Mick (Frances) Bruskotter; and mother and father-in-law Shirley and Bret Mathewson.
Molly was a 1998 graduate of Ada High School. From there she went on to get her associate's degree from Rhodes State College in 2001. She worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Anne's Hospital In Westerville, Ohio. Molly was a selfless fighter and touched many lives. She was loved by all who knew her.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 27, 2023, at Our Lady of Lourdes, 300 East Highland Avenue Ada, Ohio 45810. The family will receive visitors from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
