Michael C. Pratt was a U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force veteran
Michael C. Pratt, age 73, of Ada, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at his residence.
He was born on October 20, 1949 in Lima, Ohio to the late Kenneth and Goldie (Tackett) Vulgamore. On November 2, 1984, Michael married Carol Holbrook and she survives in Ada.
Michael was a U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was a 1967 graduate of Piketon High School. Michael retired from Whirlpool of Findlay in 2008. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye’s fan.
Also surviving are two sons: J.B. (Beth) Holbrook and Chris Shaffer; two daughters: Melissa (Paul) Magann and Macie (Jacob) Sanders; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; and three sisters: Rita (Daniel) Shriver, Sherry (David) Spangler, and Tammy (Paul) Murdock.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Pratt.
Funeral services will begin 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 24, 2023, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger, with Rev. James Gatchell officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard and the Ada VFW Post # 9381 Honor Guards.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Friday, February 24, 2023, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger.
