Morris Sponsler, Jr. worked for North American Phillips
Morris Sponsler, Jr., age 69, of Lima, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023, at 8:18 PM at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
He was born on October 12, 1953, in Lima, Ohio to the late Morris and Maudie (Wireman) Sponsler, Sr. Morris married Karen Asher on July 2, 1970 and she survives in Lima.
Also surviving are his three children: Shane Sponsler of Columbus Grove, Jarrod Sponsler of Findlay, and Sara (Devin) Lay of Sarasota, FL; two grandchildren: Keagan Sponsler and Gracie Sponsler.
Morris was preceded in death by his two brothers: Jerry Sponsler and Ernie Sponsler.
Morris retired from North American Phillips. He loved hunting, fishing and being with his family and friends.
It was his wish to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Westminster United Methodist Church, 6650 Faulkner Road, Harrod, Ohio 45850.
