Bulldogs tennis win vs. Lima Senior

LIMA–The visiting Ada High School tennis team defeated Lima Senior 4-1 Wednesday evening, April 19, for their first win of the spring.
The Bulldogs won all three singles matches and the first doubles bout to take the match convincingly and improve to 1-2.
Brendan Jameson won at first singles, while Nathan Williams triumphed at second singles.
“Brendan continues to play quality tennis,” said coach Tyler Christoff. “I am proud of the steps he is putting in to get better each and every day.
“Nathan keeps working hard and continues to make strides to become a better player,” he continued. “He showed flashes of potential that show proficient tennis in the future.”
Senior Amelia Alexander won her debut match of the season at third singles.
“In her first match back (after injury), I cannot be more proud of the resilience that she shows every single day,” said the coach. “She’s definitely the heart of the team, and everyone rallies behind her.”
Senior Geddes Klingler and Luke Archer combined to be victorious at first doubles.
Ada visits WBL foe St. Marys (7-2) Thursday, April 20 at 4:30 p.m.
