JUNE 29 UPDATE: THE EVENT BELOW HAS BEEN CANCELED.

The United Way of Hardin County has announced details about the annual  United Way Community Health Run.

The 2023 event will feature several distances, including a half marathon, 10k, and 5k. This year, you will have the option to run, walk, or ruck for each distance.

The event will be on Sunday, September 24, 2023 on the Ohio Northern University campus in Ada.

Organizers note: "For this year’s race, we are switching the focus from being a race only to a full day of events and activities in a family-friendly atmosphere along with the race! We plan to have inflatables, kids’ activities, and other fun options.

"As the United Way deeply believes in promoting health and education, we will also partner with healthcare and educational agencies in the county to help provide additional educational content and activities for people of all ages.
In addition to the events, we are actively looking for sponsors to help make this event happen.
