Sherry Lynn Evans was a hairdresser
Sherry Lynn Evans, age 74, of Ada, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Lima Memorial Health Systems.
She was born on June 22, 1948, in Kenton, Ohio to the late Robert and Ruby (McDonald) Sidle. Sherry married Charles Thomas Evans on August 29, 1970, and he survives in Ada.
Sherry is also survived by her two sons: Travis (Tina) Evans of Ada, and Wade (Sara) Evans of Reading; five grandsons: Channing (Brooke Lyle) Watson, Landon (Hanna) Evans, Dakota Evans, Tristian Evans, and Cain Evans; two great grandchildren: Sayla and Luka and one great granddaughter on the way; and three sisters: Teresa Rockenbaugh, Nancy (Ron) Kincade and Loretta (Steve) Jones all of Richwood.
Sherry retired as a hairdresser. She was a member of the Ada First United Methodist Church. She was a member of the former Ada Junior Civic League. Sherry loved spending time with her family.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 17, 2023 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with Rev. Brandi Rigsby officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 16, 2023 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics and/or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
