Bulldog tennis win vs. Cougars

VAN WERT–The Ada High School tennis team posted its second straight road win in as many nights by defeating Van Wert 3-2 Tuesday evening, May 9.
The Bulldogs won all three singles matches to record the team victory.
The win improved the Ada record to 4-5 this spring. VW fell to 3-10 with the defeat.
“I am starting to see the team play their best tennis,” said Bulldog coach Tyler Christoff. “It is going to be exciting to see what we do in sectionals.”
Ada senior Brendan Jameson cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 victory at first singles.
Southpaw Nathan Williams also rolled to victory at second singles by a 6-1, 6-0 count.
Bulldog senior Amelia Alexander gutted out a 7-5, 6-1 win at third singles.
VW won both doubles matches.
The Bulldogs compete in the Div. II sectional tournament Thursday and Saturday at UNOH.
