"Take a break" event hosted by Family Resource Center
KENTON – Family Resource Center is inviting the community to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month by participating in their “Take A Break For Mental Health” event on Thursday, May 11 from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at their campus located at 775 E. Eliza Street in Kenton.
“When everything seems like it’s happening at a thousand miles per hour, it’s important to slow down for a moment and give yourself a break,” said Amy Miller, Site Director for Family Resource Center’s Kenton Campus. “This is a chance to stop the hustle for a moment and enjoy some great food, and learn more about how Family Resource Center can help with life’s struggles right here in Kenton.”
There is no admission fee for the event, which will feature outdoor games and more. Gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches from Fork In The Road Food Truck will be available for purchase, and mental health and substance use disorder experts from Family Resource Center will be available for conversations throughout the event.
