Khristo Nonev Boyadzhiev, age 74, of Ada, passed away at his home at 9:02 a.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2023. 

He was born on September 4, 1948, in Sofia, Bulgaria to the late Nonyo and Maria (Doneva) Boyadzhiev.  On May 8, 1982 Khristo married Irina Dimitrova and she survives in Ada. 

Also surviving are his two daughters: Mena (Zach) Boyadzhiev of Boston, MA and Alexandra Boyadzhiev of Salt Lake City, UT; and two grandchildren: Rosa and Naia.  

Khristo was a professor of mathematics at Ohio Northern University, Ada.  He had been on the faculty at ONU since 1990 and taught for over fifty years starting in Bulgaria.  Khristo was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ada.  

A memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada.           

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ada Public Library and the Ada Food Pantry.
