Bonnie Minix co-owned Pfeiffer Station General Store
Bonnie L. (Burris) Minix, age 72, of Alger, passed away at 1:39 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at her residence.
She was born on June 22, 1950, in Alger, Ohio to the late Charles W. and Cleah (Koontz) Burris. Bonnie married Stratton Minix on December 31, 1982 and he preceded her in death on January 2, 2016.
Bonnie is survived by her three siblings: Rick (Tina) Burris of Alger, Doug (Sharon) Burris of Harrod, and Terri Bridenstine of Alger; numerous nieces and nephews; and her dog, Skipper.
She was preceded in death by her sisters: Karen Kindle, Lois Cummins, Marsha Murdock, and her infant sister Patricia Ann; and brother, Jerry “Bucky” Burris.
Bonnie previously worked for Essex Wire of Kenton and also was the co-owner of Pfeiffer Station General Store. She was a lifetime member of the Ada VFW Post #9381 Auxiliary and the Alger Ladies Auxiliary. Bonnie loved family dinners and spending pool time with her family.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 19, 2023 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
