Alma S. McPheron was a dietary supervisor
Alma S. McPheron, age 80, of Elida, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at her home, surrounded by her family.
She was born on September 23, 1942 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Karew and Goldie (Howard) Manns, Sr. Alma is survived by her husband, David L. McPheron who she married on April 27, 1991. She was previously married to Thomas Denman and Harold Winkles.
Alma retired from the Rose Lawn Manor, where she was the Dietary Supervisor. She was a member of the Believers Church of New Beginnings, Alger.
Also surviving is her four daughters: Julia (Howard) Davis of Lima, Cheryl Smith of Wapakoneta, Pamela (Bill) Kinniard of Waynesville and Candice (James) Keller of Kenton; three step daughters: Susan (Chuck) Hempfling of Delphos, Paula (Bill) Ball of Spencerville and Christina Graymyer of Arcadia; eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; seven brothers: Lee Manns of Florida, Hank (Genny) Manns of Piqua, Bob (Linda) Manns of Ada, Gene (Nancy) Manns of Phoenix, Karew (Marilyn) Manns, Jr of Kenton, Paul (Lisa) Manns of Alger and George Manns of Bradenton, FL; and three sisters: Tressie Jurado of Santa Ana, CA, Carol (John) Mackay of Cypress, CA and Zelma (Kirk) Shepherd of Alger.
Alma was preceded in death by two brothers: Mike Manns and Whit Manns.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 24, 2023 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with Pastor Jason Manns officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
