Billy J. Stebleton was a U.S. Marine
Billy J. Stebleton, age 74, of Alger, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2023, at 12:28 a.m. at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born on August 10, 1948, in Lima, Ohio to the late George and Viola (Miller) Stebleton.
Billy is survived by seven children: Cindy Ewing of Alger, George Stebleton of Alger, Angie Culp of New Hampshire, Anthony Ellis of Lima, Lucy Conn of Cridersville, Renee Littlejohn of Georgia, and Rebecca Stebleton of McGuffey; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a sister, Joyce Johnson of Lima.
He was preceded in death by two daughters: Crystal Gipson and Delores Howard; a brother, Larry Stebleton; and a sister: Carol Stebleton.
Billy retired from the U.S. Marines where he served during the Vietnam war and flew helicopters.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the benevolence of the family, in care of Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, P.O. Box 41, Alger, OH 45812.
