Bulldog golfers compete in Aug. 10 NWC quad

BLUFFTON–The Ada High School golf team competed in a four-team Northwest Conference match Thursday afternoon, August 10, at the Bluffton Golf Course.
Crestview won the event with a total of 181 strokes, followed by Bluffton at 188. Columbus Grove totaled 198 shots, and Ada tallied 221.
Senior Jack Baumgartner topped the Bulldogs with a nine-hole score of 49.
Teammate Brody Rister carded a 53, while Ethan Lawrence was close behind with a score of 55.
Sophomore Sam Crawford tallied a round of 64 to round out the Bulldog scorers.
Ada freshman Lawson Klingler added a round of 70.
Pirate Evan Speicher was match medalist with a score of 39.
Ada is now 0-8 (0-5 NWC) this season, while Bluffton improved to 6-1 overall and 4-1 in the NWC after the results.
Crestview is 3-0 (2-0 NWC), while Grove is now 2-4 (1-2 NWC).
