Bulldog golfers face off with Ft. Jennings

DELPHOS–The Ada High School boys golf team dropped a non-conference dual match to Fort Jennings at the Delphos Country Club Tuesday morning, August 8.
FJ out-dueled the youthful Bulldog boys by 43 strokes, 192-235.
Ada’s Jack Baumgartner finished tied for third place in the 10-player match. He paced the Bulldogs with a score of 49, highlighted by a birdie on the sixth hole.
Brody Rister carded a 53 to support him. Ethan Lawrence tallied a 64, while Lawson Klingler posted a score of 68 to round out the Ada scorers.
FJ’s Dylan Tumlinson shot a 45 to win match medalist honors. Musketeer Brayden Hart was second with a nine-hole score of 48.
Ada (0-4) is back in action at the Bluffton Golf Course vs. the Pirates (3-0) Thursday at 4:15 p.m.
