Jayden Matthew Elwood was a student at Ada High School
Jayden Matthew Elwood, age 17, of Ada, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
He was born on August 9, 2006, in Findlay, Ohio to Jessica Elwood. His mother, Jessica survives in Ada and his father, Matt Williams survives in Toledo.
Jayden was entering his sophomore year at Ada High School. He enjoyed playing basketball, wrestling and playing video games. He also enjoyed music, being outdoors and being with his friends.
Jayden is also survived by his brother and sister: Dayne Williams and Kaydence Williams both of Toledo; grandmothers: Tammy Elwood of Ada and Julie Munn of Findlay; grandpa, Matt Elwood of Texas; great grandpa, Marion Gross, Jr. of Alger; two aunts: Angie (Don) Robey and Sara Elwood; and two uncles: David Sterling and Tim Gross.
He was preceded in death by his two great grandmothers: Connie Gross and Janice Walton.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger with Pastor Bill Prater officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, P.O. Box 41, Alger, Ohio 45812 for the benevolence of the family.
