Two Ada crashes in 25 MPH zones reported on Aug. 14

S. JOHNSON ST. ROLLOVER DISABLES 2 VEHICLES
The Ada Police Department reported that at 10:37 a.m. on August 14, a vehicle traveling south on S. Johnson St. struck a legally parked vehicle at 721 S. Johnson. The moving vehicle rolled onto the driver’s side and front and side airbags deployed. The parked car was pushed some 7 feet south of its original position.
Annalisa Hughes, 34, who was driving an SUV, claimed no injuries on scene. The parked vehicle was unoccupied.
Disabling damage to both vehicles was noted and Hughes’ SUV was towed from the scene.
Ada Police, Fire and EMS units reponded to the incident.
MAIN ST. NEAR LINCOLN
A two-car crash occurred on Main Street north of Lincoln Ave. at 11:19 a.m. on Monday, August 14.
The Ada Police Department responded to the call and has reported that one vehicle was south bound on S. Main St. waiting to turn onto E. Lincoln Ave. The second vehicle was north bound on S. Main St. The north-bound driver stated an Amazon vehicle abruptly turned into McDonald’s forcing them to swerve left and side swipe the other vehicle.
In the incident, Terra McKee, 38, struck the vehicle of Josie Phillips, 17. No injuries were suspected at the time of the incident. There was minor damage to both vehicles.
