Bulldog boys soccer ties Liberty-Benton

The Ada High School boys soccer team tied visiting Liberty-Benton 1-1 Thursday evening, September 14, in a North Central Ohio Soccer Association match under the lights at War Memorial Stadium.
The Bulldog record moves to 2-4-3 overall and 0-0-2 in NCOSA action after their second straight league tie.
L-B runs its mark to 3-4-2 overall and 1-0-1 in NCOSA action with the draw.
Bulldog junior Nathan Williams scored the only Bulldog goal on an assist from senior Carson Gossard. The teams battled through a scoreless second half in the hard-fought defensive battle.
Ada freshman keeper Jacob Rush made 11 saves in goal, and was the game MVP, according to Bulldog head coach Jason Okuly.
Ada (0-1 NWC) plays at Northwest Conference foe Lincolnview (3-2-2, 1-0-1 NWC) Monday night, September 18.
