Bulldog volleyball loses to AE

The Ada High School volleyball team lost in straight sets at backyard rival Allen East in a Northwest Conference match Tuesday evening, September 26, in Harrod.
The Bulldogs fell to 9-8 overall and 1-4 in the NWC with the 25-13, 25-16, 25-23 defeat.
The Mustang girls improved to 13-1 overall and 3-1 in the NWC with the victory. AE stayed in contention for the league title, tied for second with Bluffton and Leipsic behind Crestview (5-0 NWC), after the victory.
Ada senior setter Autumn Andreasen passed out 14 assists and made 11 digs. She also knocked down four kills.
Junior Tessa Griffith hit four kills, mustered nine digs and served up a pair of aces.
Freshman Dailah Preston drilled five kills and made four blocks.
Senior hitter Daicy Robinson hammered four kills and made three blocks.
Junior libero Jenna Bassitt hustled up 13 digs. Junior defensive specialist
Alyssa Madison came up with 10 digs.
The Bulldog reserves lost to AE 2-0 to fall to 11-3 this season.
Ada (4-3 home) tries to snap a four-match losing skid when they entertain Delphos Jefferson (2-14, 0-3 NWC) in a league match Thursday evening.
