Linda L. (Allen) Pedersen was a homemaker
Linda L. (Allen) Pedersen, age 79, of Lima and formerly of Ada, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
She was born on March 13, 1944, in Alger, Ohio to the late Adam and Marie (Nichols) Allen. On June 28, 1963, Linda married Russell T. “Pete” Pedersen, Jr. and he preceded her in death on January 30, 2023.
Linda is survived by her son, Bruce Pedersen of Lima; son-in-law, Joe Anderson of Waynesville; five grandchildren: Jeremy Pedersen, Brandon Pedersen, Lexi Pedersen, Lydia Anderson, and Sam Anderson; four great grandchildren: Kale, Tate, Miles, and Jackson Pedersen; two sisters: Barbara (Walter) Molands of Alger and Judi (Gary) Bradley of Kenton; and a sister-in-law, Linda K. Allen of Westminster.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly M. “Kim” Anderson; a brother, Raymond Allen; and a sister-in-law, Vickie Pedersen.
Linda worked several jobs including Lima Memorial Hospital, Greg’s Department Store and most important she was a homemaker. She loved cooking and was known for her spaghetti pizza. She enjoyed doing yard work and donating to needed causes. She collected Longenberger Baskets and made pinecone wreaths with her sisters. Linda loved her grandchildren and attending their sporting events.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice, 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
