Carmenel Mullins, age 73, of McGuffey, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Lima Memorial Health System.  

Carmenel was born on September 24, 1950, in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Samuel and Odie (Joseph) Mullins, Sr. 

She is survived by her three brothers: Sam (Susie) Mullins, Jr. of Mt. Blanchard, Larry (Bernie) Mullins of Shawnee and Rick (Robin) Mullins of Kenton; three sisters: Barbara (Traverse) Baker of Ada, Rita Steinberger of McGuffey and Debra Mullins of McGuffey; and a great aunt to many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her brother, James Mullins and sister, Avanell Prater. 

Carmenel was very knowledgeable about family history.  She was loved by her family and will be greatly missed. 

It was her wish to be cremated, family services will be held at a later date.
