Amber Rex taught at Ohio State Beauty Academy
Amber L. Rex, age 40, of Lima, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.
She was the daughter of Carole and Doug Stimmel of Harrod. On April 9, 2005 Amber married Nathan A. Rex and he survives in Lima. Also surviving are her three children: Audrey, Cameron and Carson; a brother, Scott Stimmel; a sister, Amanda (Steve Dawson) Morris; two half-brothers: Landon Tomcho and Miley Tomcho; father and mother-in-law: Mark and Cheryl Rex; a brother and sister-in-law: Logan and Megan Rex; sister-in-law, Kristin Rex; maternal grandmother, Martha Tarlteton; and four nieces and nephews: Liam, Lyla, Alexis and Riley.
Amber was a teacher at the Ohio State Beauty Academy, Lima. She previously was the pastor at Roundhead and Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. She loved fiercely, even so much as to donate a kidney to her brother.
Memorial Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 1, 2023 at the Westminster Abbey Church, 6650 Faulkner Road, Harrod, Ohio with Pastor Cathy Davis officiating.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 2:00-7:00 p.m. at the Westminster Abbey Church, 6650 Faulkner Road, Harrod, Ohio.
