This is 4.57 inches below the 10-year average growing season precipitation, and 5.76 less inches of rain than last year’s growing season.

With the help of 15 volunteer rainfall reporters, the Hardin County Extension office has collected unofficial township rainfall data for the past 28 consecutive years.

The 2020 growing season began with some early planting in April followed by wet fields for most of May.

This caused issues with ponding, replanting, and some crops getting planted later than planned.

Once crops did get planted, the months of June and July brought a dry period with parts of Hardin County being in a moderate drought area as determined by the U.S. Drought Monitor.

Positions is a solid effort for Ariana Grande, although there is nothing new here

Positions is the sixth studio album by American singer and actress Ariana Grande, released on Oct. 30, 2020, by Republic Records.

The album builds on the R&B and trap pop elements of Grande’s earlier efforts, Sweetener (2018) and Thank U, Next (2019). There is also a good amount of hip hop, neo-soul, and funk featured on Positions.

Action anticipated in tonight's council meeting

Ada village intends to share $4,800 of the $298,000 it receives from CARES Acts funding with Ada-Liberty Joint Ambulance District for its use for expenses due to COVID-19.

The action is on tonight’s council agenda. The agenda is attached to this story.

Council will also act on authorizing 2021 dollar amounts for select benefits of village employees as outlined in its policy and procedure manual.

Jamie Hall, village administrator, said this is required because the village removes dollar amounts from the policy and procedure manual for auditing compliance purposes. The list with dollar amounts is attached at the bottom of this story.
