Beatitudes looking for Wednesday and Thursday volunteers

With summer nearly over and planning for a regular fall routine on most viewers minds’, here’s something to consider from Beatitudes.

Beatitudes, 210 Main St., Ada, is taking applications for volunteer positions, according to Deb Curlis, director.

“We need clothing processors,” she said. “This is a perfect volunteer position for a husband-wife team, best friends or any single person.”

She said that volunteers are needed from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

“We’re the only community center offering all clothing for just $1,” she said. “I invite you to come join our team and know that you are helping out your community."

Here's the deal. If you image that everyone you meet is a polar bear, you'd no doubt keep your 6-foot distance. This COSI sign simply reminds everyone that, under the circumstances, it's a good idea, despite that no polar bears are running loose in Ada.
