Carolyn A. Craig worked for Kroger
Carolyn A. Craig, age 80, of Kenton, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023, at 5:30 a.m. at the Shawnee Manor, Lima.
She was born on March 15, 1943 in Hardin County, Ohio to the late Leonard and Esther (Hurt) Hinton. On October 4, 1963 Carolyn married Edgar C. Craig and he preceded her in death on September 21, 2015.
Carolyn retired from Kroger in Kenton. She enjoyed singing and taking trips to Kelleys Island. Most of all, Carolyn’s life centered around being a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her two sons: Keith Craig of Kenton and Eric Craig of Lima; four grandchildren; a brother, David (Karen) Hinton of Ft. Meade, FL; and a sister, Sondra Combs of Dunkirk.
Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger with Chaplain Mark Loveley officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
