Richard “Riley” Woofter worked for Hal & Jean’s Restaurant
Richard “Riley” Woofter, age 82, of Ada, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 9:15 a.m. at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
He was born on March 5, 1941 in Philippi, West Virginia to the late James and Dorothy (Riley) Woofter. On February 11, 1963 Riley married Genevieve Patton. He was preceded in death by his wife and by his son, Michael Woofter.
Riley previously worked for the former Hal & Jean’s Restaurant of Ada. He also did grounds and custodian for several churches and businesses in Ada. He was a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Ada.
It was his wish to be cremated. Inurnment will be in Williamstown Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 300 East Highland Avenue, Ada, Ohio 45810.
