Madeline J. Lenhart worked for Triplett Corporation
Madeline J. “Maggie” Lenhart, age 103, of Ada, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at the Lost Creek Care Center, Lima.
She was born on July 6, 1920 in Mansfield, Ohio to Elza R. and Marjorie A. (McBride) Dodge who preceded her in death. On October 13, 1948 she married Eugene A. “Gene” Lenhart and he died on September 5, 1978.
Maggie retired in 1984 after working for 7 years at Tripplett Corporation in Bluffton, Ohio. She was a member of the following organizations: Ada American Legion Women’s Auxiliary Post #185, the Ada VFW Post #9381 Women’s Auxiliary, the Ada Senior Citizens and the Lima Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary Aerie #370. She was a former member of the Moose Lodge Ladies Auxiliary of Findlay, Ohio.
Maggie is survived by her two grandchildren; a sister, Virginia Cowles of Pataskala; and several nieces and nephews.
Maggie was preceded in death by her son and daughter: Terry L. Moore and Arlene K. Rentz; five brothers: Gary Dodge, Roger Dodge, William Dodge, Rolland Dodge and Howard Dodge; and four Sisters: Patricia Lambert, Kathryn Snyder, Inez Crouse and Betty J. Barringer.
Graveside services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Woodlawn Cemetery Chapel, Ada with Rev. Brandi Rigsby officiating.
