SPENCERVILLE__The visiting Ada High School boys basketball team lost to league leader Spencerville 60-16 in a Northwest Conference contest that served as the rare Thursday nightcap of a girls/boys doubleheader on February 15.

Spencerville is undefeated in the league with one NWC game left. With Bluffton second at 5-2, the Bearcats cannot be caught.

Ada dropped to 3-16 overall and 0-7 in the NWC with the defeat. The Bearcats improved to 16-4 and 7-0 in the NWC after the victory.
Bearcats Carter Sudhoff and Will Sensabaugh tallied 14 points apiece to pace the victors.
The Bearcats lead the NWC by two full games over Bluffton (5-2). AE and Crestview are tied for third at 4-2, followed by Leipsic (4-3) and Columbus Grove (3-3).
