McGUFFEY__The Ada track and field teams competed in a triangular meet with Upper Scioto Valley and Indian Lake to start off their season at USV on Monday, March 26. Indian Lake won both the boys and girls triangular meet, with Ada second in each and host USV a distant third.

IL won the boys meet with 96 points, followed by Ada (55) and USV (21). The Lakers took first in the girls meet with 100 points, followed by the Bulldogs (46) and the Rams (12).

Ada senior Mariah King won the 100 and 300 hurdle events, and was fourth in the high jump.

Bulldog senior Jackson Brown captured first in the 200-meter dash and the 110 high hurdles to pace the Ada boys.

Ram Wyatt Helton won the boys 800 meter run (2:17.4) to post the lone USV first-place finish.

The Bulldogs compete at the seven-team Waynesfield-Goshen meet Saturday afternoon.
