Funeral services for Rose Marie Johns
Rose Marie Johns, age 68, of McGuffey, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Lima Memorial Health System.
Rose was born on August 6, 1955, in Kenton, Ohio to the late Gerald and Myrtle (Howard) Johns, Sr. She was previously married to James Myers.
She is survived by her two children: Jonathan Myers of McGuffey and Kimberly (Floyd) Matherne of Pickerington; granddaughter, Mackenzie; two brothers: Gerald Johns, Jr. of Ada and Charles Johns of Ada; and a sister, Peggy Johns of McGuffey.
Rose was a member of the McGuffey Church of Christ. She was an avid Bingo player. She loved her family, especially her granddaughter, Mackenzie.
Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2024 at McGuffey Church of Christ, 203 Columbus Street, McGuffey, Ohio 45859 with David Holbrook officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the church from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19.
Memorial contributions may be made to the McGuffey Church of Christ, 203 Columbus Street, McGuffey, Ohio 45859.
