SPENCERVILLE__The Ada High School track and field teams competed in the annual seven-team Bearcat Relays at Spencerville Friday, April 5.
The Bulldog girls 4x100 relay throwers foursome of Karmen Hall, Laenen Ulrey, Grace Lawrence and Jordyn Smith took first place.
The Bulldog boys 4x800 relay team consisting of Mason Selover, Ethan D’Souza, Dakota Gossman and Brody Erickson finished second to post the top Bulldog boys showing.
The AHS boys team finished fifth with 39 points to end up ahead of Delphos St. John’s and Pandora-Gilboa.
The AHS girls team came in seventh with 20 points. Junior Kennedy Jones came in fifth in the girls individual shot put. Sophomore Anna Conley finished sixth individually in the high jump.
Fort Loramie won the girls team title, while Columbus Grove took first in the boys standings.
