Bulldog tennis felled by Fostoria

FOSTORIA __ The Ada High School boys tennis team lost 4-1 at Fostoria on a breezy Wednesday evening, May 1.
The Bulldogs dropped to 0-6 with the defeat.
Ada junior Nathan Williams won at first singles to improve to 4-2 this season. He defeated junior Jordan Ferguson 6-2, 6-1 to post the Bulldog victory.
“Nathan did well,” said head coach Morgan Bass. “We had a decent start with some other matches, but it was very windy.”
Sophomore Justin Bowden lost at second singles 6-2, 6-0.
Freshman Brandon Prater was beaten at third singles in straight sets.
Juniors Like Archer and Mohamad Khalil fell at first doubles 6-3, 6-0.
Sophomores Josh Thaxton and Sam Crawford lost at second doubles 6-0, 6-2.
Ada hosts Fostoria in a makeup match Monday, May 6 on Senior Night. Jesse Okuly is the team’s lone senior.
