Area families with children in school are marking their calendars for the following dates as they get ready for the 2024-2025 school year at Ada Exempted Village Schools.

July 28 Backpack & supplies giveaway

Ada churches will be handing out free backpacks and school supplies to those in need on Sunday, July 28 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the front entrance of Ada Schools.

July 30-August 8 Ohio's sales-tax holiday
From midnight on July 30 through 11:59 p.m. on Aug. 8, save on school supplies and many items under $500.
