Diane L. Lansing worked at Heterick Memorial Library
Diane L. Lansing, age 71, of Ada, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Mercy Health-St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born on March 5, 1953 in Lima, Ohio to the late Charles and Mary (Werling) Ring. On January 12, 1974, Diane married Richard Lansing and he survives in Ada.
Also surviving are her two children: Mike Lansing of San Francisco, CA and Sara Lansing of Ada; son-in-law, James Brown, Jr. of Lima; a granddaughter, Payton Williams; four brothers: Tom (Laura) Ring, Dave Ring, Ron (Angie) Ring and Kenny Ring; and a sister, Teresa Ring.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Kathy Ann Brown on May 6, 2024; and two sisters: Patricia and Barbara.
Diane worked as a Librarian at Ohio Northern University, Ada and at the public library. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Ada.
Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with Deacon Michael Hood officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Saturday, July 13 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada.
