Village of Ada Pool to add security detail to Tuesday late swim
By Paula Pyzik Scott
Due to recent incidents with unruly individuals during Tuesday eventing late night swims (8:00-10:00 p.m.) at the Village of Ada Pool, the village council approved a request to hire a police officer to provide assistance at the facility on those evenings.
At the July 16 regular council meeting, Chief Alec Cooper reported that incidents included juvelines attempting to climb the pool fence.
Council decided to provide support for the pool staff rather than to cancel the once-weekly late swim.
