VFW FACEBOOK__The annual Park In The Park car show hosted by VFW Post 9381 of Ada, Ohio will be held on Saturday, July 12. Registration is from 10 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Trophies--sponsored by Allen Tire Service of Lima--will be presented at 4:00 p.m. Multiple raffles to be drawn starting at 4:00 include a 75" TV. ONU junior Marisa Alfes (Bellbrook) has been named an All-American Scholar for 2024-25 by the Women's Golf Coaches Association.

The criteria for WGCA All-American Scholar honors is a 3.50 GPA, be an amateur and have played in 50 percent or more of the team's events during the season.

A total of 1,499 women's collegiate golfers from 403 programs across the country were honored on Monday.

Alfes, a finance major, is a three-time All-OAC honoree, winning the individual OAC title this season. She finished 25-over par 79-76-82-76—313.
