Dear Students, Families, Staff and the Ada Community,
I hope this letter finds you all well and filled with excitement for the 2024-25 school year. As the newly appointed Superintendent of Ada Exempted Village Schools, it is my honor and privilege to welcome you back for what promises to be an incredible year of learning, growth, and achievement.
First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude to the Board of Education, staff and community for entrusting me with this important role. I am deeply committed to serving our district and working collaboratively to ensure that every student receives the highest quality education in a safe and supportive environment.
Our district has a long-standing tradition of excellence, and I am excited to build upon this strong foundation. This year, we will focus on several key district priorities:
Academic Excellence: Ensuring that every student receives a high-quality education that prepares them for future success is our primary goal. We will focus on innovative teaching methods, personalized learning, and providing the resources needed for academic achievement.
Community Engagement: Building strong relationships with families and community members is essential. We are committed to open communication, transparency, and creating opportunities for meaningful involvement in our schools.
Safe and Supportive Environment: The well-being of our students and staff is paramount. We will prioritize creating a safe and nurturing environment where everyone feels valued and respected.
Continuous Improvement: Education is ever-evolving and we must be the same. We will strive for continuous improvement in all areas, from curriculum and instruction to facilities and technology.
As we embark on this new school year, I encourage everyone to embrace the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. Together, we can focus our many talents and resources to take an already successful school district to even greater heights, where ultimately every student can thrive.
I look forward to meeting many of you in the coming weeks and months. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions, concerns, or ideas. Your partnership is invaluable, and I am eager to work alongside you to achieve our shared goals.
Wishing you all a successful and rewarding school year.
Warm regards,
Julie Simmons
