Evelyn J. Conley, age 91, of Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Ada, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at the Homestead Post Acute in Lexington, Kentucky.
She was born on January 29, 1933 in Alger, Ohio to the late Ray and Mary (Rambo) Symonds. On October 31, 1952 Evelyn married Billy Joe Conley and he preceded her in death on December 1, 2004.
She is survived by her three daughters: Vicky (Rick) Fee of Winchester, KY, Annette Vore of Ada and Jennifer (Adam) DuMont of Cincinnati and nine grandchildren: Christina (Mike) Cecil, Tiffani Selhorst, Kimberly Walters, Richie (Amanda) Fee, Katie Selhorst, Heather (Nathan) Sanford, Jeff (Tori) Vore, Hannah DuMont and Noah DuMont; thirteen great grandchildren; and son-in-law, Gary (Joann) Selhorst; and sister-in-law, Genevieve Symonds.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her two daughters: Rayetta Conley and Carla Selhorst; four brothers: Dale, Delmar, Donald and Harold Symonds; and a sister, Edna Schrader.
Evelyn worked at the Ada VFW Post #9381 and was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was a life member of the Kenton AmVets.
Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, August 19, 2024 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with Pastor Don Clinger officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada. The funeral service for Evelyn will be livestreamed on Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services Facebook Page beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, August 19 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada.
Memorial contributions may be made to charity of the donor’s choice.
