Nancy Kay Miller was a pediatric RN
Nancy Kay Miller, 85 of Lakeview, OH, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, August 3, 2024.
Nancy was born on Nov. 22, 1938, in Lima to the late Carey Clum and Mary Elizabeth (Holmes) Shondell. She is survived by her husband Richard A Miller, Sr. Nancy married Richard on August 14, 1955, in Hicksville, OH, and they were married for 69 years.
Nancy is also survived by their children: Rick Jr. (Cindi) of Clinton, TN, Elizabeth Meisel (Paul), Catherine Allen (Doug) and James (Tammi). Nancy is “Granny” to 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her best friend and sister Teresa Hartman, along with five brothers and two sisters.
Nancy held an associate degree from Lima Tech and was a pediatric RN at Lima Memorial Hospital. Over the years, Nancy and Richard opened their home to 35 foster children. She will be missed by many extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at the Bellefontaine Church of Christ, 109 Twp Rd 217, Bellefontaine OH 43311.
