Obituary for Darlene Casper
Darlene Casper, age 91, of Buchanan, Michigan formerly of Ada, Ohio peacefully passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at her residence.
She was born on March 28, 1933 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to the late Estel and Clara (Baldridge) Brown. On July 8, 1950 Darlene married Warren P. Casper and he preceded her in death on January 16, 1987.
Darlene is survived by her four children: Karen (Tony) Condeni of Findlay, Kyle P. Casper of Ada, Michelle (Greg) Hines of Buchanan, MI and Kimberly (George) Shaw of Ada; seventeen grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren and four great grandchildren on the way; and sister, Jane (Don) Robinson of Ada.
She was preceded in death by four brothers: Robert, Russell, Delmar and Douglas Brown; and sister, Josephine Hackworth.
Darlene lived the majority of her life in Ada before moving to Michigan to live with her daughter. She previously attended the Ada First Baptist Church. Darlene loved her family and lived a life of strength, faith and kindness.
Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with John Hines and Andrew Hines officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Arlington.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to LifePlan, 527 East Main Street, Niles, Michigan 49120.
