BLUFFTON – The Ada High School boys golf team defeated Lima Senior convincingly in a dual match Wednesday evening at the Bluffton Golf Course.
Ada improved to 6-4 this season with a decisive 205-235 win.
Sophomore Brody Rister and senior Ethan Lawrence tied for Bulldog team honors as they both shot a back nine score of 48.
“It was a beautiful, busy evening on the course,” said Ada head coach Kurt Klingler. “Brody and Ethan played well. We still have a little work to do with chipping and putting.
“Too many three-putts or missed birdie and par putts. We will keep working,” he added.
Sophomore Lawson Klingler carded a 52. Junior Sam Crawford posted a round of 57 as the fourth Ada scorer.
Bulldog freshman Grady Morgan posted a 76.
Spartan Blake Hahn earned match medalist honors by shooting a round of 46.
Ada is scheduled to host Arlington in a dual match on Wednesday, September 11 at the Bluffton Golf Club.
