Ada Bulldog volleyball loss to Panthers

McCOMB __ The visiting Ada High School volleyball team lost in straight sets to McComb in a Blanchard Valley Conference match Wednesday evening, September 11.
The Bulldogs dropped to 5-5 overall and 1-2 in the BVC this season after the 25-15, 25-10, 25-20 road defeat.
McComb improved to 5-4 overall and 1-2 in the BVC with the sweep.
Junior Anna Conley led Ada with seven kills.
Senior libero Jenna Bassitt led the Bulldogs with 21 digs. Senior Tess Griffith hit four kills and came up with nine digs. She also served one ace.
Sophomore setter Jaylin St. Laurent doled out 18 assists and hustled up 12 digs.
Sophomore Dailah Preston contributed five kills and one block. Sophomore Brooklyn Andreasen knocked down four kills and made one block.
Junior Alyssa Madison mustered seven digs. Junior Alainee Buxton fired one ace.
Ada concludes a four-match road swing at league rival Elmwood (1-8, 0-2 BVC) Monday, Sept. 16. The Bulldogs started out 3-1 after their first four matches were at home.
