Alger has prize drawing during Library card signup month
The Alger Public Library wants you to know that September is Library Card Sign-Up Month: "Whether you’re upgrading your skills, scouting for knowledge and information, or connecting with other readers, a library card is your key to a collection of resources.
"Dive into the library shelves for new stories and adventures and kickstart your critical thinking skills. Hitting the road? Use your library card to fuel your mind with books, e-books, and audiobooks that are available free with Libby and Hoopla!”
During September, you can enter the Alger library's sign-up contest. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners awarded, who will receive a gift card. Anyone who signs up for a new Alger Public Library Card or brings in a family member/friend to get a new library card will have both their names entered in a drawing. Example: If one person brings in two friends, both friends go in the drawing, and the person who brought them in gets their name in the drawing twice.
Winners to be drawn during the week of Oct. 7, 2024.
1st place - $50.00 Walmart gift card
2nd place - $20.00 Walmart gift card
3rd place - $15.00 gift card to Bath and Body Works
When signing up for a new library card, please bring a Valid ID with your current address on it; if your ID has an older address, please bring a piece of mail with the correct address. Children receive library cards with their parent/guardian signature permission only; their signature is required.
