Chad Everett Goodin served in the U.S. Army
Chad Everett Goodin, age 47, of Alger, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024, from injuries incurred from a motorcycle accident.
He was born on April 7, 1977 in Lima, Ohio to Dallas Goodin and Saundra (Pinks) McCracken. His father preceded him in death and his mother Saundra survives in Ada. On September 26, 2015 Chad married Darcy R. McDowell and she survives in Alger.
Also surviving are his seven children: Troy Goodin, Ryley (Michael) Evans, Kyle Goodin, Bryce Tidd, Delno Tidd, Benjamin Tidd and Gracelyn Goodin; four grandchildren: Braxton, Milo, Link and Koda; and sister, Melissa Goodin.
Chad worked for People Ready Solar Farm as a heavy equipment operator. He attended New Hope Church, Kenton. Chad served in the U.S. Army. He loved to ride his motorcycle. Chad loved his family and spending time with his kids and grandkids. He was always the life of the party.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with Pastor Jason Manns officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger with graveside military honors conducted by the U.S. Army Honor Guard and the Ada VFW Post #9381 Honor Guard.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 from 5:0-7:00 p.m. at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
