Stephen Richard Cornelius, age 57, of Alger, Ohio passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024 at his residence. 

He was born on June 28, 1967 in Wellsville, New York to Edward and Ruth (Sherman) Cornelius.  His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Wellsville, New York.  

Also surviving are his seven siblings: Sherry Lafferty, Roger Cornelius, Terry (Kimberly) Cornelius, Randy Cornelius, Robert (Janett) Cornelius, Ron (Valerie) Cornelius and Don (Magdalena) Cornelius.

Stephen was a U.S. Navy Veteran.       

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada.
