3 Ada Bulldog volleyball players tabbed All-BVC

ADA __ Three Ada High School volleyball players received All-Blanchard Valley Conference honors for 2024 in voting recently conducted by league coaches.
Senior libero and all-time digs leader Jenna Bassitt was voted third team all-league. She ended her career with a program record 1,076 digs, and also set the Ada season record for digs.
Bassitt also was named Academic All-BVC.
Senior outside hitter Tessa Griffith and junior middle Anna Conley each were named honorable mention all-league.
The hustling Griffith was among the Ada leaders in kills and digs. She also earned Academic All-BVC notice.
The 6-0 Conley was among the Bulldog leaders in kills and blocks.
The Bulldog spikers ended up 11-12 overall and 3-7 in BVC play.
Leipsic won the BVC crown with a 10-0 record. P-G was second (9-1), followed by Liberty-Benton (8-2) in third. Arlington, McComb and Van Buren each tied for fourth (6-4), with Riverdale seventh at 4-6.
Ada came in eighth at 3-7, ahead of three teams in a tie for ninth place at 1-9 - Arcadia, Elmwood and Vanlue.
Leipsic hitter Danaysia Danzy was voted BVC Player of the Year.
Leipsic’s Brent Newell and Melissa Diller of Pandora-Gilboa shared BVC Coach of the Year honors.
