NWC leader Lincolnview stops 'Dogs in 3

ADA - The Ada volleyball team played an inspired match but still lost to visiting Northwest Conference power Lincolnview Tuesday on Volley for the Cure night in the Bulldog home season finale.

Ada battled hard but lost 25-14, 25-22, 25-13 to drop the Lady Bulldog overall record to 8-11 overall. They finished 2-6 in NWC play.  

First-place Lincolnview improved to 17-2 and 7-0 in the NWC with the three-set victory.         

Erin Robinson, mother of Ada freshman spiker Daicy Robinson, was recognized as she endures her ongoing battle with breast cancer. A total of $3,822.26 was raised for the cause.

FINDLAY - Ada senior Brenna Hissong was named first team All-North Central Ohio Soccer Association in voting conducted by the league coaches this week.

The strong-legged center-back is a repeat selection on the first team.

Freshman center-midfielder Ella Marshall and junior wide midfielder Lauren Mullins earned honorable mention NCOSA honors.

Senior Alexis Rickenbacker of 5-0 league champion Liberty-Benton was voted NCOSA female Player of the Year.

The Ada girls finished 1-4 in league play, last in the six-team NCOSA standings.

Tuesday, Oct. 20 - 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 22 - 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 25 - 6:30 -8 p.m

Sign-up in is the Ada wrestling Bbuilding, located in brown building in front of school bus garage.

This is for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade. All experience levels, from beginner to advanced, are welcome to participate The club accepts boys and girls from Ada and all surrounding communities.
