KENTON__While it is difficult to think about planning for the future when money is tight, learning basic money management skills will strengthen independence, give peace of mind, and improve future financial security.

Betty Rose Hawk, age 95, of Harrod, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Vancrest of Ada. 

She was born on December 8, 1928 in Allen County, Ohio to the late John W. and Bertha (Binkley) Fleming.  On July 30, 1948, Betty married Richard A. Hawk and he preceded her in death on February 5, 2007.

HARROD__The visiting Ada High School girls basketball team ran into an angry buzzsaw and lost 63-14 at local rival Allen East in a Northwest Conference contest Thursday evening, January 11.
