Obituary for Jean I. Mason
Jean I. Mason, age 84, of Harrod, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024 at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born on May 13, 1940 in Seneca County, Ohio to the late Galen and Vivian (Prindle) Taber. On April 27, 1957, Jean married Raymond C. Mason and he preceded her in death on September 3, 2022.
Surviving are her five children: Randall (Melissa) Mason of Harrod, Kerry (Kristi) Mason of Harrod, Corry Mason of Hillard, Sally (Rich) Moldas of Bellefontaine, and Penny (Jeff) Acheson of Ada; twenty-six grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter; and a sister, Joyce Shobe.
She was preceded in death by a grandson; and brother Fred Taber.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with Pastor Charles Fuerstenau officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Westminster.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
