December 3 Public Hearings on natural gas and electricity aggregation in the Village of Ada

Pursuant to Sections 4928.20(C) and 4929.27(B) of the Ohio Revised Code, the Village of Ada, Ohio shall conduct a combined public hearing for the purpose of obtaining public input on the Plan of Operation and Governance of the natural gas and electricity aggregation program.
The Plan of Operation and Governance include the following provisions: (1) service provided; (2) determination of rates; (3) opt-out procedures; (4) billing and credit; (5) switching fees; and, (6) participation in the aggregation program(s). The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio may suggest other provisions to the Plan after its review.
All eligible customers who receive natural gas service from Columbia Gas of Ohio and Electricity from AEP Ohio - shall be included in the Village’s aggregation program(s). If an acceptable supply offer is received and accepted by the Village, eligible customers shall receive an opt-out letter for the natural gas and electricity program explaining the rate and terms and conditions of the program(s).
The 2 public hearings shall both be held at the Ada Municipal Building at 115 West Buckeye Avenue Ada, OH 45810 on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. and Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 5:15 p.m.
